Glass-smooth edges on hard maple and red oak right off the bit
Cut 40 feet of 3/8 roundover and 45-degree chamfer on hard maple and red oak this weekend with my DeWalt DWP611. Left a glass-smooth finish right off the bit—didn't even need to touch it with 120-grit sandpaper. The shanks are bare, precision-ground steel instead of being covered in thick paint that gums up your collet and throws off the runout at 20,000 RPM.
